What information we collect

When you contact us or book a session, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and information relevant to the counselling work we do together. Clinical notes are kept separately and securely in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines.

How we use your information

Information is used to provide counselling services, manage bookings, and communicate with you about your sessions. We do not sell, share, or pass your information to third parties except where required by law or in exceptional circumstances (as outlined in our counselling agreement).

The legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests and Article 9(2)(h) health and social care provision under UK GDPR.

Confidentiality

Everything you share in sessions is confidential. The limited exceptions to this are explained in the counselling agreement which all clients receive before we begin working together.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact daniel@therapydan.co.uk.

Cookies and website data

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics software. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers; Google's privacy policy applies to that data.
